I have been teaching for 5 years - developing, developing, developing - different curriculums.
 
I have an animal unit which I developed myself - this unit is best for ASL 2, 3, and 4. Not recommended for ASL1 yet due to specific vocabulary within the unit. I teach these two units for ASL 3 and 4 here in my school.
 
Here are the different categories/lessons:

*Animals in the air
*Reptiles and Amphibians
*Animals in the Sea
*Zoo Animals
*Mammals
*Insects
 
Each slideshow has: vocabulary, a short fun ungraded quiz which the students love, gifs with me signing, and conversation starters which your students can use with their partners.
 
If you prefer slideshows with no English, you can delete the words.
 
There are also two projects - a “book report” assignment in which students will present in front of the class, and a handshape hand painting project. You can use your rubric for these two projects. My students absolutely LOVE this animal unit. They are so fascinated.
