Hi, I'm Tonia Fehrenbach,
the Deaf woman behind Bohemian Chick Designs.
After years of working in corporate America and raising three incredible children, I found joy in creating handmade treasures that reflect my love for all things vintage, soulful, and meaningful. What started as a creative outlet in 2014 has grown into a passion for turning the old into something uniquely beautiful and new. I love repurposing furniture and also turning reclaimed wood into beautiful artwork, but this website is jewelry only until I can figure out something better.
I'm especially proud to represent the Deaf community in every market I attend. I’ve noticed that my work really resonates in Deaf-centered spaces, but I’m working to bridge the gap to broader audiences — one creation at a time.
Whether I’m repurposing vintage spoons into rings, giving forgotten furniture a second life, or dreaming up new decor ideas, each piece is handled with care, heart, and a little bit of boldness.
In addition to running Bohemian Chick Designs, I’m a high school ASL teacher, a storyteller, and a mom of three. I’m also preparing for a new chapter in my life - an empty nest once my youngest leaves for college next fall and my heart is NOT happy. However, I have many, MANY hobbies to keep me busy. Life is a wild, creative ride, and I’m grateful you’re here for a part of it.
